About
Independent UK theory test revision
PassTheory.live helps learner drivers revise for the UK driving theory test with free mock tests, category practice, road-sign reference material and practical revision guides. The site is an independent learning aid and is not affiliated with the DVSA.
What the site covers
The revision tools focus on the multiple-choice part of the theory test: 50 questions, a 57-minute time limit and a 43/50 pass mark. Learners can practise by category, sit a timed mock, review incorrect answers, download a PDF report and browse a visual road-sign library.
The guides explain common learner problems such as stopping distances, hazard perception timing, road-sign shapes, test-day process, motorway rules and the most common reasons people fail.
How our content is written
Content is written for learner drivers in plain English and checked against the themes in the Highway Code and the DVSA theory test syllabus. Questions are designed for revision practice, not to copy the official test question bank.
- Road-sign explanations use UK sign shapes, colours and meanings as the reference point.
- Mock-test scoring follows the public UK car theory test structure: 43 correct answers out of 50.
- Results are stored locally on your device, so you can revise without creating an account.
- Articles are updated when revision advice or Highway Code guidance changes.
Important note
Passing practice tests here does not guarantee a pass in the official theory test. Always read the latest Highway Code and use official DVSA materials alongside any free revision website.
